Senior Systems Operation Engineer

About this role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineers for Consumer Technology for Platform Engineering team.

In this role, you will

Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications: Covers jobs which provides system support for technical issues & initiatives related to large-scale applications, Platform Engineering like databases, SRE/Observability, Automation, Autosys or related batch job on daily operation work.

Job Expectations: proven experience in platform support globally distributed cloud SaaS services with right level of team handling experience. Proven ability to design, deliver, measure, and manage big cloud environments with high-growth SaaS systems with 99.99%+ SLA Strong understanding of SLO, SLI, Error Budgets and their implementation into SRE areas. Excellent understanding of SDLC, patching, releases and software development at scale, Continuous Integration and Delivery approaches. Experience with automation/configuration management using either Terraform, Ansible, or an equivalent Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services including micro services Experience with packaging and deployment tools across clusters using UCD/Harness or other relevant tools. Understands the difference between waterfall, agile/Scrum, Kanban and any other project management tools to effectively strike the right balance. Experience with any cloud technologies (PCF/ VmWare/ Azure/ AWS/ GCP) is a must Experience with Monitoring tools like Appdynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, BigPanda, ELK etc.. Experience in SQL or non-SQL DB like Oracle, MS-SQL, Mongo DB, etc. Experience in ITSM tools like Service now, Jira, etc.. Experience in Version control system like Github, Azure TFS, or any equivalent.
