Linux Administrator

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Linux System Administrator to install, configure, and maintain Linux-based systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability, in fast paced environment. Responsibilities Install, configure, patch and maintain Linux operating systems. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues. Implement and maintain security measures, including user access controls. Perform regular backups and disaster recovery operations. Manage user accounts, permissions, and groups. Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment. Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like Bash or Python and tools like Ansible. Manage server storage and file systems. Required qualifications Proven work experience ( 5-6 years ) as a Linux Administrator or similar role. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals and command-line interface. Building and supporting RHEL 8 linux servers in Azure. Experience with server hardware and management. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Jenkins Preferred skills and certifications Jenkins Certifications: Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE). Automation: Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Cloud: Experience with public cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Containerization: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes. Monitoring: Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios or Zabbix. Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl.
