The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Mainframe application development, enhancement, maintenance, and production support, along with a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS. Perform impact analysis for change requests and production enhancements. Design, code, unit test, and deploy Mainframe applications. Develop and execute JCL for batch processing. Write and optimize DB2 SQL queries for application development. Perform online transaction development using CICS. Utilize SORT utilities for batch processing and data manipulation. Manage source code and deployments using Changeman. Analyze and resolve production issues while ensuring application stability. Prepare technical documentation and support testing activities. Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
