Test Automation Engineer

You are a Test Automation Engineer proficient in Java, Selenium, and SQL for backend and frontend validation. Your role involves developing robust automation frameworks and executing test scripts to ensure high-quality deliverables for enterprise-grade applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver. - Validate data flows and logic through SQL queries on backend databases. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to define test requirements. - Analyze test results, report bugs, and ensure timely resolutions. - Contribute to continuous integration and test execution pipelines. - Participate in code reviews, test case reviews, and sprint planning meetings. - Maintain test documentation and provide regular updates on progress. Requirements: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline. - 2-6 years of hands-on experience in automation testing. - Strong knowledge of Java programming and Selenium WebDriver. - Experience writing and executing SQL queries for data validation. - Familiarity with TestNG, Maven, Git, and Jenkins. - Good understanding of the software testing lifecycle (STLC) and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Knowledge of REST API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured is a plus.
