About the role
Description We are seeking a skilled Windows Administrator with VMware expertise to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Windows server environments and VMware infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. Responsibilities Manage and maintain Windows servers and VMware environments. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Ensure the security and integrity of the systems and data. Implement and maintain backup and recovery solutions. Assist in the deployment of new applications and updates. Document system configurations and procedures for future reference. Collaborate with other IT teams to support various projects and initiatives Skills and Qualifications 2-7 years of experience in Windows Server administration. Strong knowledge of VMware infrastructure and virtualization concepts. Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP configurations. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation tasks. Understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Familiarity with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning. Good troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
