Overview: The role of Magento QA (Quality Assurance) is vital within our organization to ensure that our eCommerce platform delivers a seamless and error-free shopping experience for our customers. As the industry evolves, maintaining high-quality standards with Magento becomes increasingly paramount. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute test plans and test cases for Magento applications.Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on new and existing features.Identify, record, and track bugs/issues through to resolution.Collaborate with developers to understand system architecture and identify testing needs.Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in QA processes.Participate in design reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.Maintain and update documentation for test cases, test plans, and defects.Work with automated testing tools to streamline testing processes.Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate feedback sessions.Monitor and analyze test outcomes, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.Train other team members on QA best practices and tools.Mitigate risks by ensuring proper testing coverage across all application layers.Stay updated on latest trends in eCommerce and QA methodologies.Report testing results to stakeholders and provide recommendations.Continuously assess testing tools and software for potential enhancements.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.7+ years of experience in QA testing, preferably on the Magento platform.Proven experience with automated testing frameworks.Strong understanding of web technologies and standards.Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.Familiarity with source code control systems (e.g., Git).Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.Proficient in various QA methodologies and testing tools.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Experience with issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.Experience in eCommerce industry preferred.Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus. .
