System Administrator (Nagercoil)

We are currently seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and management of our software, hardware, and network administration. Responsibilities: - Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes. - Manage network servers and technology tools. - Proficiency in Linux and Windows, Apache, and MySQL Database Management. - Working knowledge of device access management protocols, Remote Desktop configurations, and VPN. - Creating APIs and Services to control servers through the Web. - Monitoring system performance to ensure smooth and secure operations. - Valuable understanding of Routers, Switching, DNS, Hardware & Software Firewalls. - Thorough knowledge of managing multiple servers (SVN, Windows Server, and Database Server). - Troubleshoot hardware and software errors, document problems and resolutions, prioritize issues, and assess their impact. - Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgraded IT infrastructure. - Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures. Requirements: - 0-3 years of experience in database, network administration, or system administration. - Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent. - Familiarity with SQL and database operations. - RHCSA (RedHat), VCA (VMWare), CCNA (Cisco), or MCSA (Microsoft) Certification would be an added advantage. - Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Experience with scripting and automation tools. - A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans. - Immediate joiners are required or Min. 15 days of Notice Period. - Trained freshers can apply. .
