About the role
As a QA Tester at Willware Technologies, working for the client Impiger Technologies in a hybrid role, you will be responsible for supporting the verification and validation of software solutions through functional integration and user acceptance testing (UAT). Your main responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies for functional verification and UAT. - Developing and executing detailed test scripts to ensure thorough test coverage across key business processes. - Collaborating with developers and business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and scope. You will also be responsible for: - Identifying, tracking, and documenting defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues across the system. - Conducting root cause analysis, reporting defects effectively, and coordinating resolutions with development teams. - Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes and automation strategies. Additionally, you will: - Maintain and update test plans, test cases, and test data in alignment with evolving requirements. - Perform integration and end-to-end scenario testing to ensure seamless interactions between systems. - Validate business workflows and test cross-functional scenarios to ensure system accuracy. Qualifications required for this role include: - 6-8 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test engineering roles. - Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, Agile, SDLC, and defect management processes. - Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams to drive software quality. - Hands-on experience with test management tools. - Ability to write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity at the database level (preferred). - Familiarity with manual and automated testing practices. - Exposure to integration testing tools and automation frameworks. - Experience in business domains such as finance, healthcare, or e-commerce (if applicable).
