Job Title: Senior Consultant - Java JEE & Spring Backend Developer Experience: 7+ Years Location: Remote Employment Type: Contract Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Java JEE & Spring Backend Developer with strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade backend applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL databases, and cloud-native application development. Note: This role is focused on core Java backend development. Candidates with experience limited to SAP Commerce (Hybris) development are not suitable. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java JEE and Spring Boot. - Develop and consume RESTful APIs and Microservices. - Build secure, high-performance, and reusable backend components. - Participate in system architecture, design discussions, and technical decision-making. - Integrate applications with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and messaging platforms. - Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues. - Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following coding standards. - Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers. - Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC. - Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
