Company: WINIT Location: Hyderabad (Work from Office) Experience: 0.6-2 Years Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary WINIT is looking for an AI/ML Engineer to develop intelligent automation solutions for LPO (Purchase Order) processing. The ideal candidate will leverage AI, Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), OCR, and Document Intelligence technologies to automate the extraction, validation, and processing of purchase orders from various document formats. This role involves designing end-to-end AI pipelines that can understand procurement documents, validate business rules, integrate with ERP systems, and continuously improve through machine learning. Key Responsibilities Develop AI-powered solutions for automated Purchase Order (LPO) processing.Build OCR and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) pipelines to extract information from PDFs, scanned documents, emails, and images.Implement LLM-based solutions to understand semi-structured and unstructured procurement documents.Develop machine learning models for document classification, entity extraction, and validation.Integrate AI services with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or custom procurement platforms.Build APIs and microservices for AI inference and document processing.Implement business rule validation for vendors, pricing, taxes, quantities, and approval workflows.Optimize model accuracy using prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) where applicable.Monitor model performance and improve accuracy through continuous learning and feedback.Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and backend developers to deliver scalable AI solutions.Required Skills Strong programming skills in Python.Experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.Hands-on experience with OCR technologies like Tesseract, Azure Document Intelligence, AWS Textract, or Google Document AI.Experience with Large Language Models (OpenAI, Claude, Llama, Gemini, or similar).Knowledge of Prompt Engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices.Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.Familiarity with Docker and Git.Preferred Skills Experience with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP).Knowledge of invoice, purchase order, or procurement automation.Exposure to vector databases such as Pinecone, Milvus, ChromaDB, or FAISS.Experience with Azure AI, AWS AI Services, or Google Cloud AI.Knowledge of Computer Vision and NLP techniques.Familiarity with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubernetes, or Azure ML.Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.25 years of experience in AI/ML application development.Experience building production-grade AI solutions is preferred.Nice to Have Experience with ERP integrations.Knowledge of procurement and supply chain workflows.Experience with Generative AI agents and autonomous workflows.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment.What You'll Build AI-powered Purchase Order (LPO) extraction and validation engine.Intelligent document classification and data extraction system.Vendor and item matching using semantic search.AI assistant for procurement teams.Automated approval workflow recommendations.ERP-integrated procurement automation solutions.
