About the role
As a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at our company, you will be involved in developing AI systems that can understand engineering drawings, detect construction components, trace utility networks, and generate accurate take-offs from PDFs. Key Responsibilities: - Develop computer vision and AI models specifically designed for engineering drawings and technical documents. - Build solutions for object detection, segmentation, OCR, and document understanding to enhance the accuracy of the AI systems. - Create algorithms that can effectively identify and trace various components such as pipes, manholes, valves, conduits, ductwork, equipment, and electrical systems. - Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and domain experts to ensure the delivery of production-ready AI solutions. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or AI. - Proficiency in Python and PyTorch. - Hands-on experience with OpenCV, YOLO, DETR, SAM, OCR, and Vision Transformers. - Knowledge and experience in Document AI, geometric reasoning, and spatial data processing. - Demonstrated experience in deploying AI models into production environments. The following skills and experiences would be considered a plus: - Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, GIS, or BIM platforms. - Knowledge of construction, utilities, HVAC, or electrical systems. - Familiarity with multimodal AI and Vision-Language Models.
