Network Engineer L2

As a Network Specialist at our company, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the networking services and driving continuous improvements through automation and optimization. Your responsibilities will include: - Identifying incident patterns and proactively driving problem resolution. - Driving automation to manage scale and optimize networking efforts. - Responding to high priority incidents, troubleshooting with engineers from various groups, and providing forensic data for security-based incidents. - Creating post-mortem documentation as needed. - Providing technical expertise to perform root cause analysis of service interrupting incidents. To qualify for this role, you should have: - 3-5 years of relevant experience in networking technologies, particularly in large-scale, data-driven projects. - In-depth experience with TCP/IP and packet sniffers. - Working knowledge of BGP, OSPF, Routing & Switching. - Experience with Networking OS, including EOS, IOS, IOS-XR, NXOS, JUNOS, and SONiC. - Understanding of MPLS, L3 VPNs, VRFs, STP, HSRP, CDP, and UDLD.
