As a Cyber Security Architect, your role involves designing and developing enterprise cyber security strategy and architecture. Your responsibilities include: - Understanding security requirements by evaluating business strategies and conducting system security vulnerability and risk analyses - Identifying risks associated with business processes, operations, information security programs, and technology projects - Identifying and communicating current and emerging security threats and designing security architecture elements to mitigate threats - Identifying security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommending changes or enhancements - Providing product best fit analysis to ensure end-to-end security covering different facets of architecture - Demonstrating experience in security assessment against NIST Frameworks, SANS, CIS, etc. - Providing support during technical deployment, configuration, integration, and administration of security technologies - Demonstrating experience around ITIL or key process-oriented domains like incident management, configuration management, change management, problem management - Providing assistance for disaster recovery in the event of security breaches, attacks, intrusions, and unusual, unauthorized, or illegal activity - Providing solutions for RFPs received from clients and ensuring overall design assurance - Developing a direction to manage the portfolio of to-be-solutions related to cyber risk security to better match business outcome objectives - Analysing technology environment, enterprise specifics, and client requirements to set a collaboration design framework/architecture - Providing technical leadership to the design, development, and implementation of custom solutions through modern technology - Defining current state solutions, identifying improvements, options trade-offs, and defining target state solutions - Evaluating and recommending solutions to integrate with the overall technology ecosystem - Tracking industry and application trends and relating these to planning current and future IT needs In addition, you will be involved in stakeholder coordination audit assistance by: - Liaising with stakeholders in relation to cyber security issues and providing timely support and future recommendations - Assisting in maintaining an information security risk register and helping with internal and external audits related to information security - Supporting the audit of security best practices and implementation of security principles across the organization - Assisting with the creation, maintenance, and delivery of cyber security awareness training to team members and customers - Providing training to employees on issues such as spam and unwanted or malicious emails No additional details of the company were provided in the job description.
