About the role
As a System Administrator, your responsibilities will include: - Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, network equipment, and software applications. - Monitoring system performance and taking corrective actions as needed. - Performing routine maintenance and upgrades to hardware and software. - Developing and implementing backup and disaster recovery procedures. - Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to systems and networks. - Documenting system configurations, procedures, and policies. - Managing Network Firewalls and network-related troubleshooting. - Managing backups and restorations. - Experience with antivirus software and troubleshooting related issues. - Coordinating with UPS, EPABX & CCTV Vendors. - Experience in asset management of systems and software. - Monitoring system performance, event log reviews, and troubleshooting. Qualifications required for this role: - At least 1+ years of experience in a system administration role. - Experience with Microsoft Services like AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO. - Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems. - Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure. - Knowledge of network protocols and technologies. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
