Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development skills, solid understanding of Java ecosystem, and experience working in agile teams. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based backend applications Build scalable and reusable services using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot Develop and consume RESTful APIs Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to design efficient data models Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, product owners, and DevOps teams Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability Follow Agile/Scrum development practices Required Skills & Qualifications 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java development Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOPs, Collections, Multithreading Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data) Good understanding of REST APIs and Microservices architecture Experience with databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB Familiarity with Hibernate/JPA Experience with Git and version control systems Exposure to Maven/Gradle Understanding of unit testing (JUnit, Mockito) Good problem-solving and communication skills Good to Have Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes Exposure to Kafka/RabbitMQ Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) Basic understanding of frontend technologies (Angular/React) Interested candidates can drop the resume to Sruthi.nageshkumar@wissen.com
