Sr. Node.js Developer

As a Senior Node.js Developer at our company, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable backend applications, APIs, and microservices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Node.js and related frameworks. - Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices. - Collaborate with product, design, and development teams to define technical requirements and system architecture. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices. - Perform code reviews and contribute to improving development standards. - Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the application stack. - Mentor junior developers and support knowledge-sharing initiatives. - Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions. Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js. - Strong experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks. - Good understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and microservices architecture. - Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Experience with Docker and containerized application deployment. - Knowledge of software testing, debugging, and performance optimization techniques. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). In addition to the above qualifications, the following are preferred qualifications: - Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines. - Exposure to serverless architectures. - Understanding of security best practices for backend applications. - Experience working in Agile development environments.
