As a Business Intelligence Developer - II, your role involves building and maintaining BI and analytics solutions to transform data into knowledge. You should have a strong business understanding, problem-solving skills, and experience in data and business analysis. Your primary tools will include Power BI Desktop, DAX Studio, and Power Query. Key Responsibilities: - Recognize business requirements and create data models to transform raw data into relevant insights. - Develop dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI. - Define key performance indicators (KPIs) with specific objectives and track them regularly. - Analyze data to aid decision-making and display insights in reports. - Convert business needs into technical specifications and establish completion timelines. - Create, test, and deploy Power BI scripts for efficient deep analysis. - Utilize DAX queries and functions in Power BI for data analysis. - Design charts and data documentation with explanations of algorithms, parameters, models, and relationships. - Construct and maintain a data warehouse. - Optimize SQL queries for best results. - Make technological adjustments to enhance the performance of BI systems. - Use filters and visualizations for better data understanding. - Analyze existing ETL procedures to create new systems. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements. - Develop interactive dashboards and reports. - Maintain data accuracy and integrity within BI systems. - Translate business requirements into technical specifications. - Architect data solutions aligned with business goals. - Deploy and manage Power BI applications organization-wide. - Educate non-technical stakeholders on data utilization strategies. - Continuously optimize system performance through upgrades. Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in any stream with a proven track record in the Power BI domain, or High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of relevant work experience. - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the Power BI domain.
