Fivetran Snowflake Data Engineer - Contract

Key Responsibilities Snowflake Data Engineering Design and build scalable data models within Snowflake using industry-standard architecture patterns. Develop Bronze, Silver, and Gold layer data structures (or equivalent). Create optimized tables, views, tasks, streams, and transformation processes. Implement performance tuning and query optimization techniques. Fivetran Integration & Automation Configure and optimize Fivetran connectors for source systems including NetSuite and other operational platforms. Validate ingestion pipelines, incremental loading strategies, schema evolution, and data synchronization processes. Ensure reliable, automated data movement from source systems into Snowflake. Troubleshoot and optimize data ingestion performance. Tableau Prep (ETL) Assessment Analyze and document existing Tableau Prep workflows, data preparation processes, calculated fields, joins, unions, filters, and transformation logic. Reverse engineer business rules embedded within Tableau Prep flows and local desktop processes. Identify dependencies between Tableau Prep, Tableau dashboards, source systems, and downstream reporting assets. Develop a migration strategy to transition Tableau Prep transformations into Snowflake-based ELT pipelines. It is a contractual role for 3 months
