Platform Engineer Lead

Job Description Summary Tech stack- Argo CD, GitHub Actions, Python, Kubernetes, AKS, Argo workflow, OAM Kub Vela, Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Azure. The person should be able to build HLD and LLD for the features and contribute in all feature deliverables by laying down a strong foundation with Platform knowledge and technology. The intent is to provide a technically strong support to the team and deliver various features planed for each Sprint with quality. Have a Strong technical background and support the team by enabling the team and with designing and implementational approaches, planning the release delivery for the scrum team and tech debt and handling various task with team. Experience in product release cycle, best practices, code reviews and defect management. Efficient in handling changes and enhancements. Out of the box thinking and creative problem solving skills is desired Works with the architects and product owners/managers to design and implement innovative solutions to address specific business problems. Works with the IT Operations team to deploying monitoring and performance tuning of deployed applications. Identifies optimal technologies to solve a business problem. EX. Evaluating technologies even if beta version or off-the-shelf-applications and their integration in the solution. Involved in creating POC, interact with architect within groups to strategize development and build technical roadmap. Maintains proper product documentation. Supports and mentors team members by providing training, advice, coaching and educational opportunities Promotes culture of using various AI tools in SDLC including Co-pilot, Claude, etc. Job Qualifications • Bachelors degree in information technology or related field. • Preferred 10+ years’ experience in Platform engineering/DevOps. • Extensive experience of working in Agile, participating in various L0, technical design, roadmap initiatives. • Passionate about sharing your experiences and knowledge and growing your peers • Ability to creatively handle challenges and obstacles, innovating solutions balancing both immediate needs with longer-term ownership and maintenance of solutions • Hands-on experience in Argo CD & Argo Workflow, GitHub actions, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm/Customize, Azure DevOps. • Strong Knowledge in GitOps & microservices architecture • Preferred experience in Python, Go, Datadog • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with solid teamwork ethic and customer focus.
