Role Overview: You will be an accomplished hands-on Architect with a lead by design approach to problem-solving, reporting to the Development Manager and collaborating closely with internal & external integration teams. Joining a team of highly skilled engineers at Wolters Kluwer - DXG, you will contribute to shaping the Lippincott Clinical Context platform, an interactive experience for health professionals and students. Your role includes mentoring developers, defining best practices, and contributing to an enterprise scale application. Key Responsibilities: - Interpret and understand contextual requirements - Offer creative solutions for day to day issues - Design, debug implementations of complex software solutions using NodeJS - Translate requirements to solution design - Plan and estimate development tasks - Own a business feature from technical design to release - Conduct code reviews and refactoring - Navigate through the SDLC phases such as Coding, Unit testing, Integration testing - Collaborate with QA partners, provide support during UAT, and debug issues - Plan, prioritize, and complete tasks to meet project deadlines effectively Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field - 10+ years of relevant development experience - 8+ years of industry experience developing web-based applications with modern languages, NodeJS experience is a plus - Demonstrated use of architecture design patterns in the last 3 projects - Working understanding of SDLC, agile/scrum/lean practices, and associated tools - Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills - Hands-on experience with Docker and cloud native application development (AWS) - Ability to document technical specifications, design artifacts, and organize code - Familiarity with APM tools, CI/CD, DevOps projects, search technologies, caching strategies, Git Source control, Gitflow branching methodology, SPAs like Angular and React, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, JSON, XML, Schema, database models, third-party APIs, and tools like Postman Additional Company Details: The interview process at Wolters Kluwer values authenticity, individual skills, experiences, and communication style.
