Wood is presently recruiting a Lead Engineer - Asset integrity to join our team in Chennai, India. The Integrity Engineer is responsible for leading and supporting multiple projects for primarily O&G facilities. This is an opportunity to take an active role in design and operational stage brownfield and greenfield Oil & Gas production, refining, LNG and petrochemical facilities to provide integrity, corrosion and materials expertise. The Integrity Engineer will be supporting a multidisciplinary team across the business nationally and globally.

Bachelor of Engineering degree (or greater); Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Petroleum or related specialty required

15+ years of experience as a Asset Integrity Management in oil and gas required.

Proficiency with integrity management databases preferred.

Strong report writing experience preferred.

Willingness to develop a wide range of skills and flexibility to work on a variety of projects.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Write technical reports based on assessments, calculations, and inspections

Lead the Implementation of RBI commercial software

Provide materials and corrosion-related expertise and recommendations.

Produce material selection designs/reports.

Liaise with specialized engineering disciplines to execute the integrity program and to resolve integrity related concerns

Experience leading/performing static equipment design and FEA/FFS.

Perform, lead and support corrosion assessments and corrosion modelling

Perform basic cathodic protection calculations (anode mass, number, size, location) for subsea.

Produce engineering calculations based on engineering concepts and API/ASME standards

Liaise with specialized engineering disciplines for resolution of integrity related concerns

Involvement with industry associations and academic institutions

Participate in studies regarding Risk Based Inspection and fitness assessment of pressurized equipment

Project management

Interface with clients, personnel, and subcontractors

Perform QA/QC checks and review material and corrosion related work.

Compliance with the company’s Quality and HSE policies

Achieve company goals / personal KPI’s.
