Video Platform Architect

Role Overview: As a Video Platform Architect at our company, you will have the full ownership of building our video platform using various open source technologies and implementing our own video technologies when necessary. Your primary responsibilities will include building audio and video conferencing systems, broadcasting systems, and related features such as recording. You will also be responsible for architecting, developing, and implementing various features in the video platform. Additionally, you will work on configuring and enhancing Coturn, Janus WebRTC gateway, or any other video-related open source technologies based on our requirements. You will collaborate with other engineering teams, integrate the video platform with external platforms, support the platform in a production environment, and explore new video-related technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Build 1-1, many to many audio and video conferencing, broadcasting system, and related features using open source technologies - Architect, develop, and implement various features in the video platform - Configure, enhance, and fix issues in video-related open source technologies such as Coturn, Janus WebRTC gateway - Integrate the video platform with Chat Platform and other external platforms - Support the video platform in production environment and explore new video-related technologies - Help deploy the platform in various customer data centers and build micro-services using C language libraries - Integrate the video platform with internal and external customer systems - Coach and lead the team technically, automate build and deployment process of C/C++ language-based products - Work with video technologies such as WebRTC, Janus, Kurento, Jitsi, and design core software products - Collaborate with the engineering team, participate in technical support call rotation, and ensure DevOps practices are implemented Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of hands-on experience in C/C++ Language, with a preference for Core C language - Engineering graduate (B.E./B.Tech) - Experience in working with video technologies and open source frameworks - Strong understanding of operating systems, networking concepts, data structures, and algorithms - Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills - Ability to think creatively, work independently, and continuously learn new technologies - Strong team player, self-starter, and motivator with a passion for technology and software development - Startup experience and willingness to contribute hands-on to the growth of the company (Note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description.)
