Software Development Engineer - Java/Microservices Architecture

As a Backend Engineer in this role, your responsibilities will include: - Designing, building, and shipping production-grade backend services in a microservices environment - Working directly with clients to understand requirements, solution their use cases, and integrate/deploy our product in their environment - Owning problems end-to-end by building, deploying, and debugging in the client's setup, and seeing it through to production - Leading technical discussions with client engineering and business teams, translating their needs into working solutions - Building integrations with third-party systems and APIs within customer environments - Collaborating cross-functionally with internal product and engineering teams to feed client learnings back into the product The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications: - Strong Backend Engineer with robust Micro-services experience - Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in backend software engineering with at least 2 years in a product company - Hands-on experience building and running applications in a Micro-services setup, including designing services, REST APIs, and service-to-service communication - Strong production-grade experience in building and shipping real services in Java or Node.js, with Java being highly preferred - Experience in product companies, preferably in B2B SaaS Please note that the company is not mentioned in the provided job description.
