About the role

As an Associate Project Manager at World Wide Technology (WWT), you will be responsible for the role of Automation Tester. You will be based in Hyderabad, with onsite/hybrid options available, for a 9-month contract duration which may be extended based on business needs. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright - Create reusable, modular, and scalable automation components aligned with engineering standards - Perform data quality checks including row counts, schema validation, reconciliation, and business rule validation - Test AWS based workflows involving Lambda, S3, EventBridge, SQS, CloudWatch, etc. - Validate error handling, retries, and observability for cloud native services - Support testing in distributed, event-driven architectures - Execute regression, smoke, and sanity suites as part of pipeline quality gates - Analyze test results, triage defects, and work closely with developers on root cause analysis - Ensure test artifacts and evidence are available for audit and compliance when required Skills: - Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for UI automation - Proficiency in Python or Typescript - Hands-on exposure to AWS cloud services (S3, Lambda, RDS, Redshift, etc.) - Good understanding of SQL and data analysis techniques - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git) - API automation using REST (Postman / Rest Assured / custom frameworks) - Experience with test reporting tools (Allure, custom dashboards) - Exposure to performance or non-functional testing is a plus Soft Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently in fast-paced agile teams - Clear communication with developers, data engineers, and product owners - Proactive quality mindset with attention to detail If you are interested in this role, please respond with an updated resume and the required details at the bottom of the email.
