Network Engineer – L2 Operations (Core Tea m) Locatio n: Pune / Remote (Indi a) Experienc e: 6–12 Yea rs Shif t: 24x7 Rotational Support About the Role We are looking for a hands-o n Core Network Engine er to support a large enterprise global network environment. The role involves network operations, incident management, troubleshooting, change implementation, and maintaining network stability across business-critical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents (P1/P2/P3) Support Routing & Switching environments. Implement approved network changes and maintenance activities. Perform root cause analysis (RCA). Support firewall, load balancer, DNS, and proxy infrastructure. Work closely with global engineering and operations teams. Participate in weekend implementation and maintenance windows. Required Skills Strong Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, EIG RP) Cisco Enterprise Networ ks F5 BIG-IP (LTM/GT M) Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, ASA/Firepow e r) Infoblox (DNS/DHCP/IPAM) Zscaler / Bluecoat Pro xy Incident, Problem & Change Management ServiceNow / ITILPreferred CCNA / CCNP Enterprise Banking or Financial Services experience Experience supporting large-scale production environments
