Linux Platform Engineer + Ansible

As a Linux Platform Engineer (Ansible Automation) at Worldwide Technology (WWT), you will play a crucial role in managing Linux systems, ensuring performance, security, and high availability. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining Ansible playbooks and Bash scripts for automation, managing GPFS and Pacemaker clusters, designing and implementing disaster recovery plans, administering CI/CD pipelines, and integrating Centrify, LDAP, and Red Hat Satellite. You will also provide 24x7 support, lead Agile teams, write documentation, and train team members. Additionally, you will handle VMware hosted Linux servers, physical servers, storage management, and network configurations. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage Linux systems to ensure performance, security, and high availability. - Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and Bash scripts for automation. - Manage GPFS and Pacemaker clusters for seamless operations. - Design and implement disaster recovery plans using Zerto and related tools. - Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure. - Administer and integrate Centrify, LDAP, and Red Hat Satellite. - Provide 24x7 support and act as the final escalation point for critical issues. - Lead Agile teams and projects to deliver on time with high quality. - Write detailed documentation and train team members for knowledge sharing. - Manage VMware hosted Linux servers, physical servers, storage management, and network configurations. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent with 8-12+ years of experience. - Certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), AWS Solutions Architect, or Azure Administrator. - Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities. - Effective communication and collaboration skills.
