The Role As a Technical Consultant II, Power & New Energy with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc. We have won a long-term assignment to support an industrial energy efficiency improvement program. It would involve technical advisory on program design, review of deliverables from energy audits, retrofit implementation and saving verification activities and capacity building activities. Immediate job requirement is to support this assignment as owners engineer. Post Assignment you will be part of Low Carbon Team in India and will be responsible for supporting energy transition initiatives across oil & gas and industrial projects by delivering decarbonization strategies, energy efficiency solutions, and low-carbon technology integration. Technical Advisory Support energy efficiency and industrial optimization projects. Review utilities systems: steam, power, compressed air. Develop energy saving strategies and benchmarking. Validation & Review Review Walkthrough, IGA (Investment grade energy audit), Retrofit, and M&V (Measurement & Verification) reports. Validate baseline, ECMs (Energy Conservation Measures) and savings calculations. Ensure compliance with ISO, ASHRAE and IPMVP protocols Techno-Economic Analysis Perform NPV, IRR, payback analysis. Validate CAPEX and OPEX assumptions. Governance & Assurance Support milestone approvals. Provide technical recommendations. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer Develop SOPs and templates. Conduct training and workshops. About You To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes: Engineering degree (Chemical/Energy). Energy certification (CEM or equivalent) will add a value advantage not a necessary requirement. Experience in various industries sector such as cement, glass, ceramics, steel, will be advantageous.
