Role summary: We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst - Contract with excellent validation and QA expertise to provide testing analysis on client websites and other deliverables, through manual and automated testing.You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead creating, writing and executing test plans, updating test analysis reports, partnering with development teams, writing bug defects, verifying fixes, and testing software pages with very little supervision. Key responsibilities: Create and execute test cases (manual or automated) across multiple platforms and analyze resultsCertify pre-released pages and web applications against requirementsAdvanced knowledge of Linux/Unix environmentCommunicate and partner with cross functional teams to collaborate and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycleEvaluate HTML and CSS code changes to determine appropriate test strategyCommunicate risk to leads and managers as neededSpot areas for improvement to enhance the product/ process efficiencyIdentify teams strengths and weaknesses and develop an ongoing training program to improve team's testing skillsProvide guidance and support to testersIdentify areas of automation in the current test methodologyRequirements: 2+ years of working as a Quality Assurance professional.Ability to multitask and prioritize workAbility to pick up new responsibilities and lead small teams for projectsUse rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutionsExtensive knowledge of front-end web technologies and automation frameworksUnderstanding of Unix, JavaScript, HTML and CSSExperience with the Agile methodology and regression testingExperience working with Git, SVN, CMS, and defect tracking systemsAbility to come up with test plans and create test cases from project requirementsGood written and verbal communication skillsSolid understanding of browser variations and rendering enginesFamiliarity testing on MacOS, iOS, Windows and AndroidExperience working on large-scale websites is a plusBachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
