Position: IT Support Engineer Company: Writer Information Location: Kukatpally, Hyderabad Experience: 1-2 Years Offered Salary: 3 LPA Working Days: 6 Days/Week Shift: Rotational Shifts (24/7) Week Off: Rotational Job Summary Writer Information is hiring an IT Support Engineer with 1-2 years of experience in Desktop Support, IT Helpdesk, or IT Infrastructure Support. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and the ability to provide end-user technical support in a rotational shift environment. Key Responsibilities Provide L1 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices. Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows OS, and basic network issues. Install, configure, and maintain Windows 10/11 operating systems. Support Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams, and other business applications. Manage user accounts, password resets, and Active Directory-related requests. Log and track incidents using ticketing tools and ensure timely resolution as per SLA. Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 support teams when required. Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation. Support onboarding and offboarding activities for employees. Required Skills Windows 10/11 Administration Desktop & Laptop Troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365, Outlook & Teams Basic Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN) Active Directory Hardware & Peripheral Support Incident & Ticket Management Excellent Communication Skills Eligibility Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 12 years of experience in IT Helpdesk/Desktop Support/IT Infrastructure. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Customer-focused approach with the ability to work under pressure. Willingness to work rotational shifts and 6 days a week. Preferred Skills Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Zoho Desk, or similar ticketing tools. Basic knowledge of antivirus, endpoint security, and patch management. ITIL Foundation, Microsoft, or Networking certifications are an added advantage. Immediate Joiners are Preferred.
