Senior Consultant - Application Development

You will be joining WSP Digital Solutions, a team dedicated to helping environmental and engineering clients embrace modern digital capabilities. As a mid-level Application Developer, your role will involve building cloud-native applications, integrating APIs, and contributing to product development in an agile environment. You will work closely with architects, data engineers, and product teams to create high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop cloud-native applications using modern frameworks and tools. - Build APIs, microservices, and integrations across digital platforms. - Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to operationalize analysis pipelines and ML models. - Contribute to code reviews, testing practices, and CI/CD automation. - Work with product owners and delivery managers to understand requirements and deliver incremental value. - Help in shaping technical architecture decisions and participate in sprint planning and estimation. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. - 4 to 6 years of experience in building applications. - Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or Java. - Familiarity with cloud platforms, with a preference for Azure. - Understanding of API development, microservices, and modern web frameworks. - Strong version control and DevOps practices (Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines). - Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical team members. - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices. - Experience translating design wireframes and mockups into responsive, interactive web and mobile applications.
