About the role
Undertake factual technical reporting with a view to developing interpretative skills in the analysis of results from investigations: Data management e.g., use of ESdat, EQuIS, and similar tools, interpretation, and reporting. Environmental assessment and planning including baseline environmental investigations, due diligence investigations, environmental hazard identification, and/or risk assessment. Assist with contaminated site assessments, hazardous waste site characterization, regulatory permitting services. Remediation system performance optimization, monitoring, and reporting. Environmental audits and review of compliance.
Contribute to projects with a major focus on data collection and processing. Maintain program/project timelines and specific schedule to assure timely completion of work in a safe and compliant manner. Internal communication (Project Manager, Office Manager, Senior Staff) necessary to achieve program/project goals, timeliness, and quality management objectives. Work in a collaborative way, taking direction from and supporting senior staff, to achieve project goals and meet deadlines. Develop and maintain good relationships with both new and existing clients, being able to effectively represent WSP when required. Demonstrate Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) excellence, including but not limited to, entering HSSE learnings into WSP’s learnings database. All other duties as assigned.
