Geological Engineer

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Geotechnical Engineering. Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred. 5-10 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience. Proven experience delivering transportation, roads, highways, utilities, and infrastructure projects. Strong consultancy background within engineering design environments. Experience interpreting geotechnical investigation data and laboratory testing results. Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, gINT, WALLAP, or equivalent. Strong knowledge of foundation engineering, soil mechanics, earthworks, retaining structures, and ground improvement techniques. Familiarity with Eurocodes, AASHTO, British Standards, and relevant UAE standards. Excellent technical report writing and communication skills. Experience working on major infrastructure projects within the UAE or GCC region is preferred. Knowledge of Abu Dhabi and UAE ground conditions is highly desirable. Previous experience with leading engineering consultancies is preferred. Consultant-side infrastructure experience is essential.
