Webmethods Developer

As a senior developer focused on integrations with a high volume OLTP system deployed globally to over 12,000 users, your role involves actively participating in idea exchange within the department, participating in the rollout of new business system integrations, and serving as an escalation point for system and troubleshooting issues. Additionally, you will participate in or lead solution design sessions, work effectively under pressure with changing priorities and tight deadlines, and provide technical advice, code reviews, and assistance to other programmers. Key Responsibilities: - Write complex integration solutions, optimized data extracts, updates, and interfaces - Interface with functional specialists to ensure solution design and integrity - Devise sample input data to test program accuracy - Run tests of programs using sample or actual data, assist in user acceptance training - Adhere to the global IT strategic direction - Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and effectively - Provide regular updates to appropriate managers - Communicate effectively within a small multicultural professional team - Confer with reporting manager on complex or unusual situations - Maintain knowledge and field experience regarding emerging technologies - Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement - Implement new practices and processes that are best in the field Qualification Requirements: - Experience in analysis, design, coding, and implementation of enterprise integration solutions - Experience with webMethods components: Integration Server, Broker, Trading Networks, and SAP Adapter (webMethods 9.x version preferred) - Experience with RosettaNet PIP's and standards, XML, webservices (SOAP/REST), PL/SQL, and FlatFile processing - General understanding of scalability and high-availability systems - Excellent communication and documentation skills - Experience in system administration is a plus Education & Experience Requirements: - B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA - 3 to 5 years of experience in a relevant IT position or equivalent external work experience In this role, you will be working in a climate-controlled office environment during normal business hours with potential domestic and/or international travel requirements of up to 10%.
