FEA Engineer

As an FEA Engineer at the leading Engineering company based in Delhi, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Project Management: - Assign project teams for execution of projects. - Monitor, review, and guide overall project execution by project teams. - Coordinate with the sales team to prepare project quotations based on estimated man-hours. - Maintain client communications. - Strategic Planning: - Formulate strategic plans and advise on entering new domains. - Collaborate with other verticals at Mecharts to envision and develop joint processes and practices. - Team Development: - Develop a hiring strategy for the technical team, including resume short-listing and conducting technical hiring interviews. - Plan and conduct research projects or training programs during slow project periods to upgrade team skills. - Project Execution: - Verify all available inputs in the drawings and documents for a particular project. - Identify missing inputs and either make prudent assumptions or request them from the client. - Perform FEM analysis including Vibration analysis, Acoustic Analysis, Linear Static, Non-linear Static, Dynamic analysis, and Contact FE analysis using various FEM tools/software. - Ensure simulations adhere to basic laws of physics. - Conduct tests like grid independence, time step size determination, and custom coding to ensure accurate and optimized simulations. - Interpret FEA results, understand the physics of structural analysis, provide solutions/recommendations, and write reports. - Apply manufacturing quality and considerations while generating solutions. - Provide design recommendations and directions to clients in the early stages of product/process design. - Research and develop simulation methodologies for new project types within the company. - Utilize engineering calculations and operate computer programs to support design analysis and engineering efforts, including spreadsheets and internet resources. - Quality Assurance: - Review reports as a Senior Engineer. - Upload relevant project files to the companys common server during and after project completion. - Ensure on-time delivery and quality of deliverables. - Financial Coordination: - Coordinate with the accounts team to raise project invoices as per the project milestones. - Plan hardware requirements for invoicing.
