As a Senior Field Service Technician , you won’t just fix equipment. You’ll ensure mission‑critical water treatment systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably — supporting customers who depend on water solutions every day. 🛠 What You’ll Be Doing Installing, servicing, and maintaining water treatment and purification equipment at customer sites Performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems Diagnosing system issues and implementing effective corrective actions Interfacing directly with customers to understand needs, communicate solutions, and ensure satisfaction Identifying and addressing safety concerns on both company‑owned and customer‑owned equipment Documenting service activities, inspections, and parts usage using mobile devices and Microsoft Office tools Maintaining company tools, parts inventory, and service vehicle Participating in a compensated on‑call rotation, including occasional evenings and weekends 📍 Where You’ll Make an Impact You’ll support customers throughout the Germantown territory, ensuring their water treatment systems operate safely and reliably while representing Xylem as a trusted service partner in the field.
🎯 What We’re Looking For Experience in field service, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or industrial technical work Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Comfort working independently in a customer‑facing environment Ability to identify safety risks and take corrective action Proficiency using mobile devices and basic computer applications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Preferred: 2–5 years of relevant technical or field service experience Experience with water treatment, industrial equipment, or process systems, a plus! Electrical and/or plumbing experience
