QA Mobile App Automation Engineer

Automation, mobile apps, iOS, Android, Java, appium, playwright, selenium We are seeking Automation engineer with strong experience in mobile app automation , website and POS automation. This role will focus on building and maintaining automation frameworks that validate end-to-end customer ordering workflows across mobile apps, websites, and POS systems. The ideal candidate combines software engineering skills with QA automation expertise and has hands-on experience automating iOS, Android, web applications, and device-integrated systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for:Mobile applications (iOS and Android)Websites and ordering portalsPOS workflowsBuild mobile automation test suites using AppiumDevelop web automation using modern tools such as Playwright or SeleniumAutomate POS ordering workflows and store integrationsCreate API automation tests for backend servicesIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelinesMaintain automation stability, reliability, and execution speedCollaborate with developers, product teams, and DevOps engineersParticipate in test strategy, test design, and automation planning Required Skills 58 years of QA automation or SDET experienceStrong programming skills in one of:JavaJavaScript / TypeScriptPythonGroovyHands-on experience automating:Mobile apps (iOS and Android)Web applicationsPOS workflows or device-based systemsExperience with:Appium (mobile automation)Playwright or Selenium (web automation)Jmeter or any performance testing toolsApi testing Experience with API automationExperience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with automation framework design patterns (POM, modular frameworks) Preferred Qualifications Experience testing digital ordering platforms or retail/QSR systemsExperience with React Native mobile appsExperience using device farms (Browser Stack, AWS Device Farm)Knowledge of Git-based development workflowsFamiliarity with MCP-style test design and automation workflowsExperience using Generative AI tools for automation developmentExperience using AI-assisted coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, etc.)Nice-to-Have Domain Experience POS systems and store ordering workflowsMenu and pricing systemsPayment integrationsEnd-to-end order lifecycle validationRetail or QSR technology platforms .
