Role: Senior Automation Tester TOSCA Location: Bangalore (Hybrid) Experience Required: 6+ years Role Overview: Senior Automation Tester with 6 + years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions using Tricentis Tosca. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test strategy, framework design, and continuous testing across complex enterprise applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery, drive automation initiatives, and mentor junior testers in Tosca best practices. Key Responsibilities: Test Automation Strategy & Planning Define and implement scalable automation strategies using Tricentis Tosca Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and align with business goals Framework Design & Maintenance Architect and maintain modular, reusable Tosca test frameworks Ensure alignment with CI/CD pipelines and enterprise testing standards Test Case Development Design and develop end-to-end automated test cases for web, desktop, mobile, and API layers Leverage Toscas Model-Based Testing and Test Case Design features for efficient coverage Integration & Tooling Integrate Tosca with tools like JIRA, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, and test management platforms Configure Tosca environments and manage test data using TDM (Test Data Management) Execution & Reporting Execute automated test suites across environments and platforms Analyze results, identify defects, and generate detailed reports for stakeholders Mentorship & Leadership Train and mentor junior QA engineers on Tosca capabilities and best practices Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to automation standards Continuous Improvement Optimize test cases for performance, maintainability, and scalability Stay updated with Tosca enhancements and industry trends to drive innovation Required Skills & Experience: Technical Skills: 6 + years of experience in test automation and quality engineering Strong expertise in Tricentis Tosca for model-based test automation across web, desktop, mobile, and API layers Proficiency in Java/Python/Shell scripting for custom automation utilities and framework extensions Experience in end-to-end automation testing of enterprise applications including Oracle, POS, and REST/SOAP APIs Hands-on experience with Tosca Test Data Management (TDM), Test Case Design (TCD), and DEX configuration Skilled in CI/CD integration using Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, and managing test execution in containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) Deep understanding of SDLC/STLC, Agile methodologies, and automation lifecycle across sprint-based delivery Knowledge of test management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and defect tracking systems Familiarity with cloud-based automation testing and Tosca deployment on AWS, Azure, or GCP Experience in mentoring junior engineers, conducting code reviews, and leading automation initiatives across teams and projects Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work seamlessly with developers, business analysts, and QA teams across the SDLC Agile mindset with active participation in Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives to align testing with iterative development High attention to detail and a structured approach to test case design, execution, and reporting using Toscas model-based testing features Effective time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple automation streams, environments, and deadlines Proactive and innovative thinking to continuously improve automation frameworks, reduce manual effort, and enhance test coverage Leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide junior engineers, conduct peer reviews, and lead Tosca automation initiatives across teams Preferred Qualifications: ISTQB Certification (Foundation or Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer preferred) Tricentis Tosca Certifications such as AS1, AS2, TDS1, TDS2, and AE1 Certification or hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SOAP UI, REST Assured) Role: Senior Automation Tester TOSCA Location: Bangalore (Hybrid) Experience Required: 6+ years Role Overview: Senior Automation Tester with 6 + years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions using Tricentis Tosca.
