About the role
As an Experienced PLC & Robot Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting FANUC and other industrial robots. Your expertise in PLC programming, HMI development, robot integration, and automation of Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) will be crucial for ensuring reliable and efficient operation of welding cells and material handling systems. Your role will involve robot teaching, offline programming, commissioning, and interfacing robots with PLCs and peripheral devices. Key Responsibilities: - Robot Programming and Troubleshooting for various brands such as FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, Kawasaki - PLC Programming using Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Delta platforms - Robot Teaching, Path Optimization, and integration of Spot Welding, Arc Welding, Material Handling, and Pick & Place Applications - HMI and SCADA Development - Integration of Sensors, Servo Drives, VFDs, and Safety Systems - Familiarity with Communication Protocols like Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP - Machine Commissioning, Debugging, and conducting Customer Acceptance Trials (FAT/SAT) - Interpretation of Electrical Drawings and Automation Schematics - Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to deliver automation solutions while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards Qualifications Required: - 3-5+ years of experience in industrial automation with a focus on PLC and robot programming - Proficiency in programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting of industrial robots - Sound knowledge of PLC programming, HMI development, and robot integration - Experience in automation of Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), welding cells, and material handling systems - Ability to interface robots with PLCs and peripheral devices - Strong understanding of machine communication protocols and electrical drawings interpretation In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, the company offers the following benefits: - Cell phone reimbursement - Health insurance - Leave encashment - Provident Fund Please note that the work location for this position is in person.
