As an experienced professional in the VA/AppSec/Security Testing domain, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: Role Overview: - With a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in the VA/AppSec/Security Testing domain, you are expected to have a robust conceptual understanding of application architecture and components. - Your expertise should also include a good understanding of security standards like OWASP, NIST, and other relevant guidelines. - You should be well-versed in Red Teaming, Source Code Review, and Penetration Testing activities, with a strong knowledge of application security testing, mobile security testing, API testing, and related security testing tools. - Additionally, you should have a working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines integrated with security solutions and the ability to develop and ensure implementation of security testing processes. - Your proficiency with tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, and relevant API testing frameworks will be essential in this role.
