About the Role Our client is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join its Payment Domain engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, Redis, and PostgreSQL, with hands-on experience building scalable backend systems and enterprise-grade applications. This role offers an opportunity to work on high-performance payment platforms while leveraging modern software engineering practices and AI-assisted development workflows. Location: Hyderabad (Onsite 5 Days WFO) Experience: 46 Years Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain enterprise-scale backend applications using Java and J2EE technologies. Design and implement scalable Microservices architectures. Build and integrate distributed systems using Kafka and Redis. Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot and Hibernate. Collaborate with architects, technical leads, and business stakeholders to design and implement solutions. Utilize AI-powered development tools for coding, testing, refactoring, and documentation. Integrate AI/ML and LLM-based APIs into enterprise applications where applicable. Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design initiatives. Follow best practices in software development, testing, and deployment. Required Skills 46 years of hands-on experience in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, and SQL . Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming . Experience building and maintaining distributed systems using Kafka and Redis . Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and relational database design. Knowledge of UML, software design patterns, and application architecture . Experience working with Microservices-based architectures . Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar platforms. Basic understanding of Generative AI , Prompt Engineering , Agentic AI, and AI-assisted workflows. Experience consuming or integrating AI/ML services and APIs . Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or FoundationDB. Exposure to AI/ML solutions, LLM integrations, and enterprise AI applications. Knowledge of secure AI implementation and responsible AI practices. Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and distributed computing. Experience with performance optimization and high-throughput payment systems. Hands-on experience with modern open-source development tools and frameworks.
