Position- Junior Production Engineer Manufacturing Industry Position Type - Full-Time Experience- 2-3 Years Location- Virar, Mumbai About the Role- We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Production Engineer to support manufacturing operations, production planning, quality compliance, and process improvement activities. The candidate will work closely with senior engineers and shop-floor teams to ensure smooth execution of production activities while maintaining safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities- Assist in day-to-day production activities and shop-floor coordination. Monitor fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing processes to ensure timely execution. Support production planning and scheduling to achieve delivery targets. Coordinate with design, procurement, quality, and project teams for smooth workflow. Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and safety practices. Prepare and maintain production reports, process documentation, and work records. production issues and support troubleshooting activities. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and efficiency enhancement. Assist in material handling, inventory tracking, and resource utilization. Ensure proper usage and maintenance of tools, machines, and equipment. Required Skills & Competencies Basic understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes. Knowledge of engineering drawings and production documentation. Familiarity with MS Excel, ERP systems, and reporting tools. Good communication and coordination skills. Strong problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications Internship or training experience in manufacturing/production environment. Exposure to pharmaceutical equipment or process industries will be an added advantage.
