Devops Engineer

Job Scope : Research, design, implement, and manage in-house applications and cloud infrastructure. Build, automate, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available containerized and cloud-native environments. Key Responsibilities : Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, AWS ECS/EKS, Azure Container Service (AKS), and OpenStack. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM). Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI/CD, and GitHub Actions. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible, Puppet, and Chef. Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), focusing on infrastructure design, implementation, troubleshooting, and deployment. Design and develop automation solutions for common operational tasks across AWS and Azure cloud environments. Deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions. Required Skills : Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, KVM, OpenStack, and Ansible. Expertise in Docker clustering, networking, security, monitoring, and container lifecycle management. Experience with Kubernetes deployments on virtualized environments, including Red Hat KVM architectures. Strong understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration across multiple platforms. Good knowledge of private cloud platforms such as Vanilla OpenStack, Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP), and RDO. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates). Experience designing and supporting cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, including IaaS and PaaS services. Strong knowledge of cloud automation and operational best practices. Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of containerized environments. Preferred Skills : Self-motivated individual with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement. Ability to own projects from planning through implementation and production support. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document technical solutions effectively. Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams. Experience with Agile methodologies is an added advantage. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification. Relevant hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.
