Senior Architect - Complex Drawings (Individual Contributor)

Role Overview: Your Design District is a design-focused studio dedicated to elevating interiors beyond the ordinary. Specializing in designing, producing, and sourcing distinctive interior solutions, we aim to seamlessly blend aesthetics with functionality. As a Senior Architect in our Delhi studio, you will play a crucial role in developing and coordinating architectural and interior design projects, ensuring design integrity and meeting project objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Develop architectural and interior design concepts and translate them into comprehensive drawing packages. - Produce detailed plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and construction details. - Prepare and refine construction documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements. - Create detailed specifications for materials, finishes, fixtures, and construction methodologies. - Coordinate with structural, MEP, lighting, landscape, and specialist consultants. - Review consultant drawings and integrate their requirements into architectural documentation. - Identify and resolve design conflicts and technical issues throughout the project lifecycle. - Maintain accurate and organized project records throughout all project phases. - Liaise with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to address technical queries and execution requirements. - Conduct site visits as required to review construction progress and resolve design-related issues. - Verify that project execution aligns with approved drawings and specifications. - Review architectural documentation for accuracy and quality prior to issuance. - Ensure high standards of design detailing and documentation across all project deliverables. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. - Minimum 7 years of professional experience in architecture or related design fields. - Demonstrated experience in preparing detailed construction documentation and technical drawing packages. - Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and related design software. - Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methodologies, materials, and detailing. - Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with a high level of accountability and ownership.
