QA Tester (Nagpur)

Position: Test Automation Engineer Experience: 3 months - 6 months Location: Nagpur Employment Type: Full-time Field Work: No Job Summary: Key Responsibilities: Test Automation Development: - Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. - Collaborate with the development and testing teams to understand the functionality and design effective automated test cases. - Ensure test scripts are scalable, maintainable, and reusable across different testing scenarios. Test Execution & Reporting: - Execute automated tests and report test results to identify defects and improvements. - Log and track defects in a test management tool (e.g., Jira) and ensure they are addressed in a timely manner. - Continuously monitor and improve automation test coverage to ensure efficiency and accuracy. - Collaboration & Feedback: - Work closely with developers to analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and propose improvements. - Provide feedback and suggestions for software quality improvements based on test results and automated test executions. Documentation & Reporting: - Maintain clear and detailed documentation for test cases, test scripts, and test execution results. - Prepare and present regular reports on test automation progress and quality metrics. Required Skills & Qualifications: Educational Background: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Key Skills & Competencies: - Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). - Understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git. - Ability to write and maintain clear, effective, and effective test scripts. - Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodology. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
