About the role
Responsibilities Develop and maintain Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) modules for Android, iOS, Android TV, and Apple TV OTT applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and backend, to implement new features and improve user experience. Write reusable and testable business logic code shared between platforms. Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows. Keep abreast of the latest advancements in multiplatform mobile development, OTT streaming technologies, and TV platform SDKs. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and effectively. Contribute to platform-specific UI/UX adjustments for TV and mobile form factors. Requirements Proven experience with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) development targeting Android and iOS platforms. Hands-on experience developing OTT applications on Android Mobile, Android TV, iOS Mobile, and Apple TV platforms. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and real-time data integration. Understanding of Mobile and TV app architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles). Experience with automated testing and CI/CD for multiplatform mobile and TV apps. Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and team collaboration experience in Agile environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with other cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native. Knowledge of cloud streaming infrastructure (AWS, GCP). Experience with analytics, A/B testing, and app store compliance for mobile and TV apps. Passion for video streaming, OTT technology, and delivering excellent user experiences across devices.
