Job Summary This role involves leading a high-performing data engineering team, managing cloud and data initiatives, and driving strategic data solutions using tools like Snowflake, DBT, Azure, and Python. The position also requires fostering team collaboration, optimizing workflows, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and data governance standards. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Management (80%) Lead a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with department and project requirements. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, resolving conflicts and encouraging professional growth. Partner with matrix managers to set goals, plan quarterly deliverables, and address blockers. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and promote career development through training and mentorship. Ensure effective communication and collaboration across teams and stakeholders. Oversee the planning and execution of deliverables, adhering to organizational goals and standards. Technical Contribution & Oversight (20%) Provide technical guidance in data engineering processes, utilizing tools like Azure Data Factory, DBT, Snowflake, and Python. Collaborate with operations teams to optimize workflows and implement CI/CD practices. Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards. Lead the design and optimization of data platforms, pipelines, and architectures to support growing data needs.
