About the role
Job Description AutoCAD Designer Key Responsibilities Prepare 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD software. Develop machine layouts, plant layouts, utility piping layouts, and equipment installation drawings. Update and revise existing drawings based on site modifications and project requirements. Prepare fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and shop drawings. Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) from engineering drawings. Conduct site measurements and incorporate changes into drawings. Coordinate with maintenance, production, electrical, and project teams for drawing requirements. Maintain proper documentation and drawing revision records. Ensure drawings comply with engineering standards and company requirements. Support CAPEX projects, machine installation activities, and equipment relocation projects. Required Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D. Knowledge of engineering drawing standards and dimensioning. Ability to read and interpret mechanical, civil, and electrical drawings. Knowledge of fabrication, piping, and structural drawings. Familiarity with MS Office applications. Good communication and coordination skills. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Accuracy of drawings. Timely completion of design assignments. Drawing revision control compliance. Support provided for project execution and plant modifications. Safety & Compliance Follow plant safety rules during site visits and measurements. Ensure all drawings comply with relevant engineering and safety standards.
