Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Automation Tester with strong expertise in Python, PyTest, and Playwright along with hands-on experience in Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality software releases, and supporting business-critical applications within the financial services domain. The role requires a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, automation best practices, and domain expertise in investment operations, fund administration, and transfer agency processes. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and automation frameworks.Develop scalable and reusable automation solutions using Python and PyTest.Implement and maintain web automation test suites using Playwright.Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on functional and technical requirements.Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities.Analyze test results and identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects.Participate in defect triage meetings and ensure timely closure of issues.Support continuous integration and automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.Ensure testing standards, processes, and quality metrics are consistently followed.Leverage AI-assisted development and testing tools to improve productivity and test coverage.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA and testing practice.Mandatory Technical SkillsAutomation Testing23+ years of hands-on experience in Test Automation.Strong experience in designing and developing automation frameworks.Experience creating and maintaining automated test suites.Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.Python AutomationStrong proficiency in Python programming.Hands-on experience with PyTest framework.Experience developing automation utilities and reusable test components.PlaywrightExperience with Playwright for web application automation.Experience automating modern web applications.Understanding of browser automation, UI testing, and end-to-end testing.Quality AssuranceTest Planning and Test Case Design.Regression Testing.Functional Testing.Integration Testing.Defect Management and Tracking.Root Cause Analysis.AI-Assisted TestingExperience with tools such as: GitHub CopilotChatGPTAI-based Testing ToolsIntelligent Test Automation PlatformsDomain Expertise (Mandatory)Fund AccountingStrong understanding of: NAV ValidationFund ValuationPortfolio AccountingInvestment AccountingReconciliation ProcessesCorporate ActionsTransfer AgencyHands-on experience in: Investor Record MaintenanceSubscription & Redemption ProcessingInvestor ServicingAccount MaintenanceDistribution ProcessingFinancial Services OperationsCandidates without Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency experience may not be considered.
