About the role
As the development owner of a module in the Zenoti product, your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, testing, releasing, and maintaining components of Zenoti - Collaborating with a team of Product Managers, Developers, and Quality Assurance professionals to release features - Working in a team following agile development practices (SCRUM) - Building usable software that is released at high quality, runs at scale, and is adopted by customers - Learning to scale your features to handle 2x to 4x growth every year and managing code that has to deal with millions of records and terabytes of data - Releasing new features into production every month and getting real feedback from thousands of customers to refine your designs - Being proud of the work you produce and obsessing about its quality Qualifications required for this role: - 7+ years of experience in designing and developing code on Microsoft SQL Server - Strong programming background with experience on the Microsoft stack being a plus - A deep understanding of SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, and SQL performance tuning - Experience in working with large-scale production systems being a plus - Strong and demonstrated ability to design solutions for complex database problems - Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Experience with ensuring data consistency and data validation frameworks is a plus - Excellent communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, startup environment (Note: No additional details about the company were present in the job description.)
