DevOps / Platform Engineer

We are looking for an experienced DevOps / Platform Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in OpenShift, Kubernetes, Ansible, Python, Shell scripting, and Linux. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, automating, and managing scalable infrastructure and container platforms in a production environment.

Good to Have

Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)

Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Infrastructure as Code exposure ( Terraform is a plus)

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently in production environments

Good communication and collaboration skills

Experience working in Agile / DevOps culture

Total Experience: Minimum 8 years OpenShift & Kubernetes: 3–4+ years of hands-on experience Strong knowledge of cluster administration, deployments, networking, and storage

Ansible: 2–3+ years of experience developing Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows

Python: 2–3 years of scripting and automation experience

Shell Scripting: 4–5 years of strong Bash/Shell scripting experience

Linux: Strong hands-on experience with Linux system administration

Virtualization: Knowledge of VMware is a strong advantage

Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using OpenShift and Kubernetes Build and maintain automation workflows using Ansible Develop and maintain operational scripts using Python and Shell Manage and troubleshoot Linux-based systems in enterprise environments Perform cluster upgrades, patching, monitoring, and performance tuning Work closely with application teams to enable CI/CD and container adoption Troubleshoot production issues related to containers, infrastructure, and automation Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security best practices Contribute to documentation, standards, and operational runbooks
